Supply teachers are becoming ever more important to schools. At Kidstaff, we aim to provide primary teachers of the highest quality possible. This is done by checks in four main areas:

• Recruitment
  All teachers supplied are fully qualified. Two references are sought including the last head teacher. All staff are interviewed. Teachers are seen by an educational consultant who has extensive senior management experience.
• Regular monitoring
  This takes the shape of an assessment form for each placement. An educational specialist also assesses teachers in the classroom.
• Educational Skills
  Notable experience such as special needs are held on record - as are skills such as musical capabilities and languages. Ongoing educational resource support is provided to teachers.
• Security checks
  Enhanced checks are made with the Criminal Records Bureau. A security pass with photo and our telephone number is issued to each member of staff.

Teaching assistants

Teaching assistants are becoming an ever more significant part of the education process in many schools. At Kidstaff, we work hard to recruit the very best so that they quickly start to make a valuable contribution to your school.

We ensure Teaching Assistant quality and security through a carefully structured process.

• Recruitment
  All teaching assistants are fully qualified, holding NNEB, BTEC or NVQ3 in Childcare and Education. Two references are sought for the candidate including the last head teacher. All staff are interviewed by a recruitment specialist in this area.
• Regular monitoring
  Staff are monitored through an assessment form for each placement while Claire Moore, our specialist in this area, monitors our teaching in the workplace to ensure quality.
• Skills
  Additional skills that may be essential in some schools such as special needs experience and languages are kept on record.
• Security checks
  Enhanced checks are made with the Criminal Records Bureau. A security pass with photo and our telephone number is issued to each member of staff.
